Why this calculator exists
Work-hour calculations are simple in theory, but real time cards often include unpaid breaks, overnight shifts, different pay periods and overtime thresholds. Time Calc brings those details into one focused calculator that can be used without creating an account.
The goal is not to replace an employer's payroll system. It is to help employees, freelancers and small teams check their hours, prepare a timesheet or estimate gross pay before taxes and deductions.
Private by design
The times and pay settings entered into the calculator are processed in the browser. They are saved in local browser storage so the time card can remain available on the same device. The calculator does not send those entries to a Time Calc database.
You can clear the saved values with the calculator's Clear all button or by clearing site data in your browser.
How results are produced
For each day, Time Calc calculates the difference between clock-in and clock-out, carries overnight shifts into the following day and subtracts the unpaid break. Optional daily overtime is separated first. Weekly overtime is then calculated from the remaining regular hours.
Employment rules differ by country, state, agreement and workplace. Results are therefore estimates and should always be compared with the rules that apply to the user.
Who operates the service
